How to join KENPRO Internship program
Academic, Professional Qualifications and Relevant experience:
- Fourth year or a completed Degree in either Research, Project Management.
- Project Management, or a Social Sciences related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- No work experience required but a demonstration of experience in extra-curricular or non-academic activities of value will be an added advantage.
- Ability to take initiative, “roll-up one’s sleeves” and flexible, adaptable, and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities
Terms of Internship
- This is an internship position based in Nairobi, Kenya with Virtual working expectation. The initial contract internship period is ordinarily of three (3) months

Training Opportunity
KENPRO offers training in the fields of Projects Planning and Management, Research, Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Entrepreneurship.
In the area of project planning and management, KENPRO offers the following training:
- Resource mobilization: funding proposals writing and Business Plans writing.
- Project Evaluation: This is a process that involves the systematic collection, analysis, and interpretation of project related data that can be used to understand how the project is functioning in relation to the project objectives. We train the participants how to conduct summative evaluation whose findings can be used to inform the planning and implementation of similar projects.
KENPRO offers training in the following areas of research:
- Proposal Writing: Problem Identification, Literature Review, Research Designs and Methodology, Designing of data collection tools, Referencing styles using APA.
- Data Analysis: Data Coding and Analysis using SPSS: We expose our participants to both descriptive and inferential analysis. The analysis is enhanced by the use of statistical applications such as SPSS.

- Web designing using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress
